Joe has been on roofs for more than twenty years — as a labourer first, then running crews for other companies across Halton and Peel. He learned the trade the long way: tear-offs in August, emergency tarps in February, and a lot of roofs that failed early because someone skipped a step nobody would ever see.

He started Calthorpe because he got tired of how the work was being sold. Too many homeowners were being quoted a full replacement for a roof with years left in it, and too many quotes arrived with no explanation of what was actually wrong. He wanted a company where the inspection came first and the pitch came second — if at all.

So that's how it runs. Joe inspects the property himself, photographs what he finds, and tells you plainly what it needs. He won't upsell work that isn't necessary, he won't quote a replacement when a repair will do, and he'll tell you if your roof is fine and you should call back in three years.
